The KeyACCIDENT Data Entry Module allows for quick and easy entering of RTA data which is validated during entry so that it complies with the DfT Stats21 rules. The Ordnance Survey grid coordinate location of the accident can be quickly identified and automatically retrieved from a map. Stats 19/20 data can be quickly and efficiently entered as the screens correspond with the National RTA data collection form. Each field is validated to be compliant with Stats21 as data is being entered.

All the details relating to the accident, all the vehicles and all the casualties can be entered at once or alternatively, if not all the information is available the data entered can be saved and data entry can be completed at a later date.

  KeyACCIDENT Data Entry in Detail
   Data Capture    Easily Enter Data

The data entry module allows for the collection of Stats19/20 data in an easy to use and comprehensive fashion. Records can be added quickly and effortlessly, moving smoothly through the accident details on to the vehicle details and finally on to the casualty details.

Individual fields can be selected by using the keyboard or mouse making the data entry process as simple as possible.

   Stats21 Checking    National Street Gazetteer

Data is automatically validated to Stats21 requirements as each field is entered, with a final check being carried out when saving an accident to the processed database. Range checks are also made to ensure that data integrity is maintained. A report is produced if the record fails the Stats21 check.

A gazetteer utilising data in the National Street Gazetteer format is used to select where the accident occurred.

  OS Coordinate    Reports

Interactive maps are used to automatically locate and insert the Ordnance Survey coordinate for each accident. Accidents can be located to within one metre of the accident position.

Reports can be generated showing the current status of individual accidents; whether they have been processed or not.
